Publisher review:Countdown Timer is a quick and easy Javascript countdown timer. This is a quick and easy Javascript countdown timer. You give it a target date/time and it'll countdown until it reaches 0. It has a simple template mechanism so you can control it's appearance. First create an HTML element in which to put the timer, the ID of which (or element reference) you pass to the creation function call. The countdown timer only has 2 methods: start() and stop() which do the obvious. The template is a simple string representing the HTML you want to use.
The default template is a simple '{d} : {h} : {m} : {s}'. The script will first use a template you supply using the 'format:' option, then it will look at the innerHTML of the timer element and use that if it finds anything there. Finally the default is used.
